- Development of high-precision in-line inspection systems for ensuring reliability of trunk pipeline facilities.
- Development and implementation of domestic metrological support systems for oil and petroleum product accounting operations.
- Development and production of domestic drag-reducing agents with improved rheological characteristics.
- Production of energy efficient pumps with increased efficiency of domestic production.
- Development and production of high-voltage induction and synchronous electric motors of improved design with improved characteristics.
- Development of a comprehensive system for monitoring the technical condition of trunk pipelines with an assessment of their current and predicted condition.
- Creating of a single centralised ERP system Corporate Integrated Management Information System (CIMIS) of Transneft and its subsidiaries.
As part of Transneft's innovation activities, in addition to innovative projects, a set of applied R&D projects is envisaged. Implementation of applied R&D is primarily aimed at maintaining the Company's high level of technological development in the main groups of applied technologies in the field of oil and petroleum products trunk pipeline transportation, as well as the implementation of promising areas of technological development, including:
- The Internet of Things for industrial safety and occupational health;
- The technical condition control system with the digital twins technology for trunk pipelines;
- Management of greenhouse gas emissions;
- Smart power supply technologies;
- Robotic systems;
- Artificial intelligence technologies.
