Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port received the third lot of breeding animals

Within the context of implementation of primary National Project «Development of Agro-Industry of Russia» the latest lot of elite breeding stock of high quality beef strain Charollais in quantity of 813 heads was delivered to Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port from France. The unloading was organized on the 4th terminal of Port’s Eastern Area.
In all, more than five thousand heads of imported cattle was delivered to Krasnodar Region through Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port beginning from 2006.
The above livestock is designated for formation of the basis for reconstruction of the genetic base of national cattle breeding in the South of Russia.
