A new three-year collective agreement effective from May 1, 2010 is signed on April 16, 2010, between Administration of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (LSE: NCSP, RTS and MICEX: NMTP) and NCSP employees represented by a single representative body, consisting of L.N.Ruzhechko, Chair of NCSP primary trade union organization of Krasnodar region sea port employees, A.A.Pereboev, Chairman of NCSP primary organization of docker trade union, A.V.Yagolnik, Deputy Chairman of primary organization of RF water transport trade union and other NCSP employees.
Discussions of a new version of collective agreement have lasted for two and a half months. The provisions of the new collective agreement regulate such issues as labour safety and health protection, work discipline, wages, social guarantees, along with guaranties of trade union rights, obligations of the employer and the trade unions in respect of performance of the collective agreement.
According to Larisa Ruzhechko, Chair of trade union of Krasnodar region sea port employees, the collective agreement for 2010-2013 is issued taking the experience of previous years into account; it has become more accessible to every employee and more convenient for practical usage. “The principal positions in the social sphere are maintained and improved, trade union obligations, including additional trade union obligations in the social sphere, are clearly defined, which was missing in the previous collective agreement. The new version provides for an increase in salary for employees with job rate with bonus system of payment. These are, in particular, dockers, in-port drivers, gantry and mobile crane operators. Port veterans, both WWII veterans and those who worked during WWII, are not left out and will get annual aid payments for Victory Day”, highlighted Larisa Ruzhechko.
