For contribution to solution of state important tasks

In accordance with decree No. № 453-рп of the President of Russian Federation dated the 25.12.2006, the Ministry of Defense of Russia was appointed to deliver technical equipment and materiel resources to Lebanon Republic to render assistance in elimination of consequences of battle actions.
To do this, two military trains and three transports delivered military cargos by railway to port Novorossiysk. In the course of well-organized interactions with military transport bodies, due to high skill and care, advanced operating methods, your collective has performed transshipment of complicated bridge structures, military equipment and material resources from railway transport to ship «Yury Arshenevski» in the shortest time. Thereby the employees of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, managers and stevedore teams of Western Area of Port in particular, directly organizing and providing transshipment procedure, make a valuable contribution to solution of tasks of state and political importance.
Taking the above mentioned into consideration, Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation expresses great gratitude to your, Igor Evgenievich, to collective of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, and hopes on further effective cooperation in transport provision of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and strengthening of defensive capacity of the Country.
