Cargo turnover of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port over 9 months of 2006 has constituted 56 mln 229 ths. tons, being increased by about by 1.3 percents in comparison with the similar period of 2005.
The following amounts of cargo were handled: liquid bulk cargo — 42 mln 649 ths. tons (+1.7 %), dry cargo — 13 mln 579 ths. tons (-2.9 %).
Dry grain cargo transshipment has constituted 2 mln 552 ths. tons (-1.7 %) including ferrous and non-ferrous metals (including cast iron) — 6 mln 150 ths. tons (+13.2%), ore — 851 ths. tons (-44.1 %), mineral fertilizers in bulk — 1 mln 015 ths. tons (-31.4%), raw sugar — 932 ths. tons (-22.7%), cement 887 ths. tons (+7.5%) correspondingly.
